Kayla started acting at 8 years old while living in the DFW metroplex in Texas. She became a regular at the community and regional theaters in the area. After graduating , Kayla moved to Arkansas to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theater. Kayla started working in local independent films, as well as performing as part of the Henderson Modern Dance Company. After graduating, Kayla moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where she toured with the Arkansas Children’s Theater. Kayla continued to work in film, earning her SAG eligibility appearing across from Ray Wise in God’s Not Dead 2. Kayla started producing her own short films and plays, with her work appearing in over 100 film festivals across the world. In 2016 Kayla,began performing stand up comedy, and now tours the country as a comedian. In 2019, Kayla moved to Los Angeles where she continued acting and stand up, appearing on Oxygen and Apple TV,performing at The Hollywood Improv and The Comedy Store. Kayla has won multiple awards for her stand up comedy, acting, and directing, but her favorite moments as an artist have always been teaching young performers and creatives. While touring with The Arkansas Children’s Theater, Kayla had the opportunity to introduce theater to children across Arkansas. While in Arkansas, she also traveled to schools and camps teaching her one day class “Spanning the Arts” where children were encouraged to foster a creative spirit and discipline that would aid them in any art they chose to pursue. Moving to Los Angeles,she loves working at THE PAC!
